Town of Dover recreation parks and facilities are for primary use by residents of the Town of Dover. The following rules and regulations are designed for the protection and benefits of all users and to assure safety and sanitary operation of all facilities.  All persons and groups shall obey the rules, regulations and instructions at all times. Parents should read and explain these rules to their children and caution them to observe all rules.  Any failure to comply with these rules shall be considered sufficient cause for immediate suspension of park privileges.

All persons using the recreation facilities shall observe such rules as posted in the area.

Hours of Operation: Dawn to Dusk (Park may be closed due to inclement weather)

  1. In case of emergency call 911.
  2. No destroying or defacing the park or park equipment. Immediately notify the Recreation Department at 845-832-9168 of any accidents or damage to buildings, facilities or grounds.
  3. The Town of Dover shall NOT be responsible for loss or damage to any personal property.
  4. All persons using any of the recreation facilities will do so at their own risk. The Town of Dover shall NOT be responsible for any accidents or injury.
  5. No abusive language, profanity, reckless behavior, soliciting or loitering is permitted.
  6. No intoxicants may be brought into or consumed at Boyce Park.
  7. No smoking or vaping in the park.
  8. No children under the age of 15 shall be permitted without a parent or guardian.
  9. All dogs must be licensed and walked on a leash. No pets are allowed in the recreation area. Please clean up after your animal. Dogs may be walked at the back of the park beyond the gate.
  10. Parking is permitted in designated areas only. No overnight parking is permitted without prior authorization by the Recreation Department. Violators may be towed at the owner’s expense.
  11. No person or group may sleep, camp or erect a tent/shelter in the park without Town Board approval.
  12. All hunting or carrying of firearms is prohibited including air rifles, bb guns, paint ball guns, pistols.
  13. The use of any unlicensed or licensed engine-powered vehicles including mini-bikes, motorcycles, UTV’s, ATV’s, go-carts and snowmobiles is prohibited at any time.
